We’re starting the year with the 3:16 Journey! Yes, we will be going week by week on the third chapter, and sixteenth verse of sixteen New Testament books. This discipleship journey will give you a biblical foundation that will cause you to grow and bear fruit that lasts. Be ready to take notes and apply what it takes to live strong, in Christ.

Salvation: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

Holy Spirit Baptism: “John answered them all, “I baptize you with water. But one more powerful than I will come, whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire” (Luke 3:16).

The Trinity: “And Jesus, when he was baptized went up straightway out of the water : and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him. And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:16-17).

The Blessing of Abraham: “Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ” (Galatians 3:16).
Spiritual power: “That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man” (Ephesians 3:16).
Holiness: “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” (1 Cor 3:16).

Glory of God: “Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away” (2 Corinthians 3:16).

Healing: “By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see” (Acts 3:16).

The 12 Apostles: “Simon, to whom He gave the name Peter; James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James, to whom He gave the name Boanerges, that is, “Sons of Thunder”; Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Cananite; and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him” (Mark 3:16-19).

Worship: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” (Colossians 3:16).

Peace with God: “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all” (2 Thess 3:16).

The Mystery of Godliness: “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory” (1 Timothy 3:16).

Inspiration of Scripture: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).
Godly Service: “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren” (1 John 3:16)

Character: “For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing” (James 3:16).

Judgment of God: “So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth” (Revelation 3:16).
